The thing about people with anxiety disorder is that they actually know that what they think of feel is not real and that they are just made-up.

The common anxiety disorders are Panic Disorder, Social Phobia, Agoraphobia, Specific Phobia, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Separation Anxiety, Post-traumatic Stress Disorder, and Selective Mutism.

A person with anxiety condition may suffer different anxiety disorder symptoms. And because no two individuals are the same, the anxiety disorder symptoms may vary from one person to the other.

The physical symptoms of anxiety disorder are cause by brain sending messages to parts of the body to prepare for the flight to fight response. The lungs, heart, and other parts of the body work faster and the brain releases stress hormones, including adrenaline, and that explains that physical symptoms.

Anxiety disorder symptoms may experience physically can include but not limited to:

Abdominal discomfort

Diarrhea

Dry mouth

Rapid heartbeat or palpitations

Tightness or pain in chest

Shortness of breath

There are several types of anxiety disorders and sometimes they are associated with physical problem such alcohol and drug abuse. Anxiety is the main symptoms of other mental illness called anxiety disorders. Anxiety disorder symptoms may differ from the symptoms of other anxiety disorders, but all the symptoms cluster around excessive, irrational fear and dread.

Seeing as that I operate a detoxification program, you tend to see patient’s anxiety progressively evolve into paranoia which eventually result in panic attacks. There are many addicts out there who agonize through overwhelming treatments because of their substance dependency. The use of non-pharmacological treatments should be maximized in individuals with substance use disorders. These individuals have often become accustomed to responding to any anxiety or intolerable affect with the use of a pill. It is important to teach coping strategies and methods by which they can manage some of their anxiety without the use of medications or substances of abuse.

    Problems that are associated with these forms of mood disorders may seem minuscule a first, but I would suggest that they not be token so lightly. The ideals of our modern-day-society is that we concentrate our time and energy in remedies of the post cognitive nature instead of them being in a precognitive form. In hopes of creating a society that is not only mentally stable but also functional why don’t we recognize programs that inhere to preventative means of rehabilitation? The only problem with this formula is figuring out what comes first “the chicken or the egg.” Well in this particular situation the actual drug addiction itself or the mood disorder technically can’t be put in
    an exact category, considering not everyones going to fall prey to the same situation. As stated before, we as individuals have to develop a method that will better allow us to be more in tune with our emotional state, and to be more open to each other about them. The relationship between anxiety and substance use disorders is complex. There are promising findings in the development of psychotherapeutic treatments specifically tailored for the treatment of dual diagnoses. Medication treatments are also promising in decreasing both anxiety symptoms and substance use.
