Constipation is a condition that millions of people encounter at sometime in their life.  It is a condition that creates a lot of anxiety and worry, and if it persists too long it can becomes chronic constipation.  The cause of constipation and relieving constipation is a subject of much controversy.  What often makes it difficult to get rid of constipation is that it comes from both physical and mental unbalances.

Using drugs can alter your body’s hormonal system causing imbalances that lead to other sickness.  In addition, drugs suppress the cause of constipation and may also cause constipation under continual use.  Drugs are poisons designed to kill and to alter cellular function.  That is why using natural remedies first makes sense.

The following list gives you some natural solutions for eliminating chronic constipation.  If you want to really get rid of constipation then using natural nutritional methods is how you can do it.

Start relieving constipation with fiber.  Add more fiber to your diet little by little.  Do use the artificial fiber that you buy in boxes.  Use the natural fiber found if fruits and vegetables.  Fiber activates peristaltic colon action to move stool out of our body.

Eat fruits and their juices from morning until noon. This helps you to detoxify and eliminate toxins that accumulated during the night.  You’ll also get more fiber, since fruits are high in fiber.  This is a relieving constipation diet.  It is the tendency of your body to have a bowel movement in the morning to eliminate toxins and waste that has accumulated during the night.  Eating anything other then fruits and their juices will cause constipation.

Eat plenty of vegetables both raw and cooked, but mostly raw to prevent chronic constipation.  Again like fruits they contain fiber and a tremendous amount of nutrients.  The time to eat vegetables is with lunch and dinner.  Vegetable substances and fiber will mix with the meat and bread you eat to give it bulk causing it to move quickly through your colon.

Drink more water during the day to make your stools softer.  Of course, eating fruits and vegetables gives you some water, since they are around 80% water.  Now, don’t get caught up in the idea that you need 8 glasses of water per day.  Most likely you only need 4 glasses per day.  But drink water, when you are thirsty, not to up the count on your glasses per day.

You can relieve constipation by not eating constipation creating foods.  This will be a tremendous help in improving your bowel frequency.  These foods are all white flour products, all foods in packages, cakes, cup cakes, donuts, cookies, pies, and all sweets.  Notice that all of these foods are not natural and do not contain fiber.  Without fiber the foods you eat will be hard to move along your colon.

One more thing, bad bacteria can cause constipation.  We all have bad bacteria but when it gets out of control, it can lead to disease and malfunction of the colon. Excess bad bacterium can excrete toxins that destroy good colon function, which can lead to constipation.

You can control the bad bacteria in your colon by not eating too much meat.  When you eat too much meat some of it will be undigested.  Undigested meat or protein is what feeds the bad bacteria, helping them to multiple and become stronger.

With these few tips, you can make a start to get rid of your chronic constipation.  Take serious the use of fruit and their juices in the morning.  And, adding plenty of vegetables with your protein and carbohydrate meals will prevent constipation.  Careful with the water and don’t drink 8 glasses a day unless you are an athlete or are working in the hot sun every day.
