Panic Anxiety Disorder Treatment – Anxiety Medications and Its Side Effects

The intensity of Anxiety Symptoms can diver from person to person, and the form in which symptoms may occur for them.

There are many kinds of anxiety you can classified as emotional disorders

For example, Neurontin depression anxiety, social anxiety, and panic anxiety disorder,. Anxiety maybe psychologically rooted,

But it can produce many physical symptoms, some of which can be very distressing and panic inducing for the person who is experiences them.

With anxiety you tend to feel a sense of anxiousness most of the time without letup.

Anxiety can be a result of the stress that many people have to deal with every day.

, The vast majority of the people feeling anxiety because of stress can usually cope well with it. But people with Anxiety disorder on the other hand may find it difficult to function in every day society, due to the amount of anxiety and the associated emotional and physical symptoms they may be experiencing.

A lack of understanding about why they feel as they do and why they cannot just control their fears and anxiety, and receiving similar responses from others only makes the anxiety worse. And even though it may not be difficult to identify stress as a possible trigger in increasing the occurrence and suffering of an anxiety disorder, other triggering factors are not so easily identifiable. Not knowing what may trigger anxiety to build is in itself anxiety inducing. Negative thoughts, avoidance of certain situations, etc.. And how many different symptoms will occur, varies among individuals.

In most cases an Anxiety attack will come suddenly and without warning upon a person with Anxiety disorder

The instinct of a human being is to fight or flee when encountering perceived dangerous situations.

In the case of real dangerous situations this instinct is very useful,

But this kind of instinctive behavior triggered by an Anxiety panic attack, can lead to suffering to the person having the panic attack, and can also lead to hazardous situation, where the person having the panic attack may unintentionally hurt themselves or others in trying to get away from the so perceived dangerous situation

Anxiety medications like Buspar, Cymbalta, and others, can cause at least some of the above listed symptoms of anxiety, as side effects of taking them. Luckily, most of these side effects such as headache, feeling dizzy, cold sweats, sick to the stomach, and other symptoms, usually dissipate within a few weeks of use of the medication. Antidepressant medications used for treating anxiety also share in the occurrence of these common side effects.

if you are taking anxiety and antidepressant medications for anxiety

you need to make sure your doctor is following your progress closely

your doctors will also want to monitor you for withdrawal symptoms when discontinuing your use of these anxiety medications.

There are several different therapies available that can help to control anxiety attack symptoms. There is a treatment called behavioral therapy that is often used to help anxiety attack disorder patients to relieve their symptoms. Cognitive behavioral therapy is a method to change the way a sufferer thinks or perceives certain things and therefore make it easier for the sufferer to handle situations that would normally accelerate into an anxiety panic attack. This kind of anxiety disorder treatment is usually used for Usually, this kind of anxiety disorder treatment is for sufferers suffering from different phobias like social anxiety disorder or social phobias.

The goal of the treatment is to expose the sufferer to the specific things that trigger their anxiety. Hopefully they will realize that the consequences for these kind ofsituations are not at all as bad as they first thought.. The behavioral aspect of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is a must for patients looking for anxiety help. By teaching the sufferers relaxation techniques, breathing exercises and the desensitization process, the therapist will help the sufferer change his behavior slowly. Patients who need anxiety help due to paranoia will step-by-step be taken through several stimulated experiences, where step-by-step the fear of people will be overcome.

Medicine is another anxiety attack cure. There are several groups of drugs available for treatment of anxiety panic attacks Todays panic attack medication is very effective in treating anxiety panic attacks. Your doctor will tell you which medication you should take. Remember that it normally takes several weeks for the medication to have any effect. There is a number of different medications are available. These are “Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors”, “Azapirones”, “Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitors”, “Tricyclic Antidepressants”, “Benzodiazepines”.

The one most often prescribed to panic attack patients is from the benzodiazepine drug class. In the benzodiazepine drug class, the drug most commonly prescribed drug is “Alprazolam”. However, the benzodiazepine is a medicine drug class that claims it cures anxiety symptoms in 70-80 percent of the users. The one problem with this is that the information included with the drug informs that benzodiazepine can actually CAUSE anxiety!

Beta blockers are the best drug class to control anxiety attack symptoms and are normaly prescribed to prevent rapid heartbeat, trembling and shaking related symptoms. The beta blockers also have fewer side effects than any other forms of medication, but they can cause insomnia and other sleep-related issues like nightmares. Most health care professionals do not prescribe them to anxiety attack patients because beta blockers do not actually cure the anxiety panic attacks.

Anxiety Attack Therapy And Medication Working Together

Quite often, cognitive behavioral therapy are used in combination for treatment of panic attacks. When the patient changes the way they think about certain things, the behavioral therapy is successful. If medication is prescribed to the sufferer, it can take several weeks to fully work. Medications as an anxiety panic attack treatment help regulate different chemicals that the brain needs. The sufferer can effectively battle their panic attacks by combining the two treatments.

Anxiety disorder treatment can be a good step towards healing for someone suffering from an anxiety disorder of any type. Generally there are two types of treatments: medications and cognitive behavioral therapy. Either therapy or medications can be used by itself or in combination to successfully treat anxiety problems.

The Right Anxiety Disorder Treatment

Medications can be a very good option for those suffering from anxiety. Research has shown that many antidepressant medications can and have been used successfully. Once you and your doctor decide on a specific medication, keep in mind that it can take a while for the medications to begin to help. Any type of anti-anxiety medication can take up to a few weeks to assist your body in regulating the chemicals that cause anxiety. Some medications can have side effects, so make sure you understand both the benefits and side effects of any particular medication. Some side effects are worse than others, but if you are aware of the side effects, you will know what to expect.

Another way to treat it is therapy. Cognitive behavioral therapy is often used to help patients suffering from anxiety. One aspect of this involves changing the way the patient thinks or perceives certain things. By changing the way you think about certain situations, those particular situations can become less intimidating and help with the tendency to inflate a situation to an unmanageable level. Also, the patient can attempt to change their reactions to certain situations. This way is usually used for those who suffer from certain phobias. By exposing themselves to the specific things that trigger their anxiety, they will hopefully realize that the consequences for these situations are not nearly as bad as they thought.

Quite often, medications and behavioral therapy are used in combination for anxiety disorder treatment. When the patient changes the way they view and think about certain things, the behavioral therapy is successful. If medication is prescribed, it can take several weeks to fully work. Medications as an anxiety disorder treatment help regulate certain chemicals that the body needs. By combining the two treatments, the patient can effectively battle their anxiety disorders.

Anxiety disorder treatment is quite often successful. If behavioral therapy is prescribed, it also can take a while to work, since it takes time to change thought and behavior patterns. However, by combining these ways of curing it, most patients have had a very good level of success.

Are you suffering from an anxiety disorder? Are you tired of experiencing anxiety attacks (panic attacks)? Well you’re definitely not alone. With today’s society becoming even more fast-paced and stressful it’s no wonder that millions of people are plagued with some form of anxiety disorder.

If you are a sufferer of anxiety yourself then I am sure you know that there is an abundance of information online for anxiety disorder treatments and finding something that actually works can be hard. The sad reality is that 90% of online products are scams; people looking to make a quick buck off of others. It’s especially sad when they are preying on the vulnerabilities of people with more serious problems such as anxiety disorders who are desperate to find anything that will make their lives better.

Currently there are many books and programs online that promise to cure your anxiety disorder with their magical secrets that only they can tell you. Of course being the skeptic that I am I do not have much trust in the value of most of these products out there; and that rings true for anxiety disorders as well. Now this is not to say that everything out there is a lie, but finding a good quality product that rings true to their word is like finding a needle in a haystack, so to speak.

Just last week I found an example of an anxiety disorder treatment that proves this. It’s called the Easy Calm system; and at first glance I thought ‘great another low quality product ******* people in’. Surprisingly, this couldn’t be further from the truth. The first thing that made this stand out was that it was not another crappy anxiety disorder e-book.

So what exactly is Easy Calm then?

Easy Calm is a series of one-on-one video coaching put together by a well known personal development coach named Jon Mercer. It actually is quite ingenious as it gives you the benefit of a personal therapist guiding you through a series of ‘steps’ that you must take without the hassle or expense of having to travel to their office. Not to mention the fact that most people feel extremely uncomfortable with the idea of sitting in an office exposing their fears and anxieties face to face with a stranger. This is what I think makes this program unique. His anxiety disorder video ‘sessions’ are very relaxed and laid back so that you feel comfortable and relaxed yourself. The more relaxed you are, the more you will be able to take in, process, and put to practice the information given. He also understands that videos alone may not be enough to guide you, and their will be times where you may have questions or need some more personal support. For this reason he actually gives you his e-mail, not an auto-responder or a call answer service. He wants to personally help you as much as possible to an anxiety free life. This alone shocked me as it is extremely rare to see someone offer such personal attention with an online product.

For most people who suffer from an anxiety disorder, a book alone is not enough without a support system behind it. Yet, having to go to someone face to face and spill your guts can actually cause more anxiety. I believe that this system actually strikes a great balance between the two. The fact is though, what works for one person may not in fact work for another which is why Jon Mercer offers his first session for free so that you can see for yourself if it is something you feel would benefit you. Although, honestly it is backed by a complete money back guarantee anyway so there really is no loss, and it is extremely cheap seeing as it costs the same as just one anxiety book alone.

I highly recommend that if you suffer from any form of an anxiety disorder or experience anxiety attacks that you should at the least give the free session a try because you will have nothing to lose and quite possibly an anxiety free, happier life to gain!

By: Tammy R (Free Download Anxiety Treatment eBook)

About the Author:
