When people first begin to develop anxiety symptoms, it’s rare that they understand what’s happening to them. The most common reaction is that they are feeling off-color or a little under the weather. It’s only when the anxieties become more pronounced or even shade into the more extreme form of panic, that people are prepared to accept they have an emotional rather than a physical problem. Many do visit with their local healthcare provider for a full physical check-up. This is to eliminate the “acceptable” causes of their problem. It’s common for people to be ashamed and not wish to explore the reality of what may be wrong with them until admission of the extent of the problem becomes unavoidable. When anxiety or panic attacks become more frequent, people quickly begin to change their behavior. They think about what happens and when it happens. If a particular activity, place or group of people seem to trigger unpleasant effects, the first step is to avoid the various stimuli. The reasonable expectation is that avoidance will eliminate the anxiety. Unfortunately, this disruption to the normal pattern of life rarely produces good results. It’s not possible to avoid crowded environments in a city. Unless people shop, there’s no food on the table. Public transport and the use of elevators at work are difficult to avoid and soon lead to comment and questions. In the best cases, there is temporary relief, but anxiety is usually transferred to situations that are “new”. Once people are forced to accept that the anxiety is not going to go away on its own, they begin to anticipate attacks. At first, they may approach family and friends to accompany them whilst they shop but, in its own right, this can cause additional stress. If an anxiety or panic attack should occur with friends present, admission of the problem would be unavoidable. Thus, people self-medicate. Xanax is the best known and most effective of all the anxiety relieving drugs. It is freely available through the internet without prescription. This can break the cycle. Without help, the fear of an anxiety or panic attack can itself trigger an attack. Once attacks become more common, people fall into agoraphobia and fear to go out of their homes. Let’s be straightforward about this. Getting professional help is always the best course of action. You get a proper diagnosis and your treatment is monitored. Without help, it’s too easy to make mistakes with the dosage and get into difficulties. But, whichever way you go, there is one constant. The best medication to treat anxiety and panic disorders is xanax. Used properly, it will always help you to recover.

When someone suffers a panic attack, they may not realize they are suffering from it. Many people react with different emotions from anxiety related situations. Many of these same people do not understand the symptoms behind this disorder. For each person, there several ways a panic attack manifests itself.

Psychological and physical symptoms are typical experiences behind the disorder. How a person shows their symptoms can vary from some to all.

Panic attacks begin from the psychological symptoms. When the person goes into the anxiety state, they start to think and feel certain ways. They start off by worrying; have fears, dread and overall anxiety about a certain situations.

Sometimes, they feel as if they will die due to a fear of the situation. Sometimes, the panic attack can paralyze someone from thinking, pausing them in their steps. The fear is so strong it overwhelms the person into reacting into a physical state beyond the psychological state.

Part of the reason people begin feeling the physical symptoms and signs is that the panic attacks go throughout the body which want it to either fight or flight. If a person is faced with a panic induced situation, the body wants to fight to overcome it or flee from the bad place. This is the part that is psychological. From the symptoms of panic attacks make it anxiety worse, possibly even bigger than it should be.

Example: Think of yourself in a major car accident. You are seriously injured and have to recover in a hospital and take time off of work to heal. Yet, you heal and get better. But…you are afraid to be in a car or perhaps behind the wheel. Afraid the accident may occur once again. You see the accident occurring time and again and it makes you feel out of control. This is a panic attack.

Panic Attack Signs and Symptoms –

* Heart beats faster
* Heart palpitations
* Tightening in the chest that feels like a heart attack.(This is normal of a terrifying situation.)
* Stomach upset
* Diarrhea
* Headache
* Nausea

Neurological Symptoms of Panic Attacks – this can make you feel like you are having a seizure.
* Twitches
* Jitters
* Other movements that are involuntary

The body goes through internal temperature shifts, causing chills or hot flashes.

Nearly everyone experiences at least one of these symptoms of panic attacks. Peak times are between ten minutes and can last up to thirty minutes.

Should a person circumvent and control the psychological symptoms, then you can stave off the physical ones. However, if it seems this not possible, then seeking medical help is necessary so the attacks do not get worse and interrupt the person’s life completely. By learning coping techniques and working with the doctor, it is possible to eliminate the attacks and live life again.

For those of you who have experienced a panic attack know for sure you don’t ever want to experience it again. Sufferers may continue to have them, but knowing that there are some ways to lessen the process, or at least make recovering from the attack easier, is a relief in itself. Many people the world over suffer from panic attacks and go day in and day out wondering when the next one will surface and if they will handle it.

Figuring out why you became panicked and anxious at the time of the attack will help you to deal with the panic attack. With rational thoughts, you can very likely calm yourself down and in the process determine why you panicked in the first place.

You may even find a way to avoid future attacks if you pay close attention to the time, place and events that occur around the attack. Scientifically, we can not determine why certain people have panic attacks, but tracking your attacks can help determine the cause of yours and bring you one step closer to eliminating them altogether.

Once you feel an attack emerging, you should always sit up straight, take deep inhalations and slowly exhale, until the fear of anxiety and panic disappears. Focusing on your breathing will help you to have something to concentrate on and keep your mind off of the panic attack itself. Taking deep and slow breaths in this manner will also keep you from passing out from being over worked from the attack and also ensures your physical health and well being.

If and when you feel a panic attack emerge, be sure to stop everything you are doing and begin your slow and deep breathing as before mentioned. Try thinking of a time and place that you were most relaxed. Close your eyes and until your anxiety and panic passes, imagine that you are in that time and place and stay there until the anxious feeling goes away completely. These are the most natural and safest ways to help deal with panic attacks.

Just remember to think positive thoughts, relax, and most importantly, to breath. Doing these things may help in determining what causes your panic attacks and aid in trying to avoid these situations in the future. Panic attacks will never be enjoyable, but with the help of these simple steps they can be more tolerable.

Panic attack can be an extremely frightening experience. Suddenly, your hit by a barrage of symptoms, you may feel like having a heart attack, suffocating, or losing control. This experience can be so traumatizing and real that you will feel like dieing right at that moment.

Panic attack can strike anytime, anywhere and to anyone. It don’t even need a reason to hit you. Although excessive stress can trigger a panic attack, it is completely random for most of the time.

However, once you experienced the first panic attack, the body will be put on “alert” status and the chances of having another attack is increased. This becomes a problem if panic attack occur again and again.

An important contributor to the occurrence of further panic attacks is related to where the first one occurred. For most, it happens in a place where they cannot escape easily: for example, in a train, bus, taxi, elevator, building. For example, if the panic attack occurred during a bus ride, chance are, you would be quite nervous during your next bus ride as you think panic attack might hit you again. The more nervous you are, the more likely another panic attack will happen.

With your initial experience with panic attack, you will most probably try to escape before you feel the attack coming on. Once out of the bus, the panic feeling subside and your worst fear is confirmed. You associate bus ride to your panic attack. A few more experiences confirms this and you avoid taking a bus altogether.

What I have just explained is a typical example of the development of panic attack and it can be applied to any situation. You have a panic attack at a particular place or situation. You link it to that place or situation and avoid it.

The main culprit here is fear. The fear and anxiety of having a panic attack causes it to happen. Panic attack feeds on fear and anxiety. The more your fearful of it happening, the harder and faster it will hit you. In order to control a panic attack and stop it forever, you need to attack its roots – fear.

The most effective way to stop panic attack forever is to KNOW that you will not be harmed. A large part of the fear comes from the fact that the sufferer thinks he is about to die, which is totally untrue!

Here’s a few FACTS about panic attack:

-Panic attack CANNOT cause heart attack

-Panic attack CANNOT cause suffocation

-Panic attack CANNOT make you faint

-Panic attack CANNOT cause you to go mad/crazy

Doesn’t feel like it? But its true! There more than enough medical evidence to prove all these. The symptoms feel unnatural because its a panic response from the body, your not suppose to feel it unless your in danger – which your not! Panic attack is the result of this “panic alarm” going off for the wrong reason. Use this knowledge to your advantage, KNOW that you are safe and panic attack cannot harm you. Don’t fear panic attack…and certainly don’t fear having one!

By: Andrew Lim (Download Natural Treatment for Anxiety Now!)

About the Author:

The process of using interpersonal therapy to treat panic disorders is one of learning how to interact with and relate to other people in a situation that makes you comfortable. Most people with social panic disorders have issues regarding their self-image and individuality. Most often these manifest as a tendency to avoid confrontations and play a ********** role, even when it make them unhappy to do so. The “nice guy” who always does anything his social group asks of him as a “favor” is a classic example of this behavior. Even if he really doesn’t want to run the errand, he is afraid of being rejected and begins to panic just thinking about it, and so does what was asked of him.

The practice of interpersonal therapy to treat panic disorders is common nowadays. The most important thing is to teach the person to be more assertive and express their true needs and feelings in a comfortable way. Always being ********** to others wants can easily lead to a loss of self-esteem and depression as you see your own worth and needs as being less than those around you.

There are ways to be assertive without being aggressive, fortunately. Learning to be assertive means learning to place your own needs above those of others. It means learning to say “No” without having a panic attack. Aggressive behavior tends to result from a lack of assertiveness, which causes the aggressive person to lash out at those around them. But most of the time, people who aren’t assertive simply let everyone around them have their way, regardless of their own feelings on what they want.

When going into interpersonal therapy to treat panic disorders, a lot of time is spent discovering how to express oneself verbally. You must learn to choose words that do not attack, manipulate, or belittle the other person. Part of the process is learning to tell people when you don’t want to do something. It is also necessary to learn when it is appropriate to assert your wants over others wants, how and when to say no, and generally just learning to communicate more effectively overall.

Another important part of interpersonal therapy is the time spent learning how to use neutral body language to maintain your non-submissive status without using aggressive body language. For instance, looking the other person in the eye when telling them something can mean the difference between being ********** and not **********. You will be amazed at how much different your use of body language can make both you and others feel about you.

Most panic attacks are caused by panic disorders, which are in turn caused by ongoing anxiety. If you are the type of person that always gives in, is always submissive, then you are probably living in a state of constant anxiety that you will be asked to do something you really don’t want to do. This can easily lead to simply isolating oneself from the group, in an attempt to avoid those situations. This is not good for you, and can lead to depression in addition to the panic and anxiety disorders.

The most important thing you can learn by going through interpersonal therapy to treat your panic disorder is simply that you have the right to your own feelings. No person can force you to do something that you don’t want to. If you think that this article describes you, visit your doctor for a referral to an interpersonal therapist. You will never regret it.

By: Abhishek Agarwal (Download Natural Treatment for Anxiety Now!)

About the Author:

Are you looking for a panic attack cure that stops all your panic attacks for good? It is the most horrifying experience to go through such anxiety attacks. These surges in your mood can be controlled. If you think that this problem of yours cannot be resolved, then you are wrong, because this is like any other normal problem but with a solution.

You would have approached doctors who would have advised the use of medication and several exercises to calm you down and you would have found that this is not having any effect in the long run. You need to understand the behavior of your anxiety attacks before you find a good panic attack cure.

The first step of panic attack cure is to understand that this panic attack that you go through does not originate in a few minutes. It is a continuous process of your mind being occupied with the fear of having such a problem. So the most important point to be taken care of is to break this cycle of anxiety motion.

Research proves that when you start panicking like this your forebrain which usually helps you in making decisions is not what is working. This rationale part hands over the control to your mid brain which is responsible for survival mechanisms that includes fight or flight.

You would have been advised the use of several exercises to calm your body. This aims at calming you physically. You might find a temporary relief because of this but you will not be able to find the best panic attack cure in this. What you actually need in such situations is a method to calm you mentally. When such is the case use of medications will never help you. You need help in understanding the root cause of a panic attack and then you can solve this problem of yours.

By: sidana.abhi (Anxiety Treatment eBook – FREE)

About the Author:

If you have been suffering from panic attacks or anxiety, there are several methods available that can help you succeed in the cruel battle of overcoming panic attacks. However, no matter how severe your attacks are, they are totally treatable, you just need to know the exact methods that will finally relieve your stress and anxiety, which is what actually triggers your attacks.

Stopping Your Panic Attacks – First Step!

Even before you start taking the step to overcome your attacks you first need to know what actually triggers them. There are several causes that may trigger your attacks, if you cannot remember them exactly, use a plain piece of paper to write them down every time you feel an attack coming. Some people don’t know what triggers their attacks off, however there is always a reason, no matter the circumstances, something made them burst. Perhaps you experience social anxiety, where panic attacks usually occur in crowded places, such as cafes, malls supermarkets and the list may go on.

Stopping Your Panic Attacks – Second Step!

The second most important step to stop the attacks is to distract your mind, keep your thoughts away from what may trigger the attacks. Keep yourself busy and never let anxiety dis troy your life. So you have made up a list ..with what possibly triggers your attacks, you are now a lot more aware of what causes your attacks, now try not to avoid the situations in your list, that is exactly what is going to start your next panic attack – ‘fearing something on your list’.

Things I was often fearing : speaking in public, going to the malls or supermarkets and just about any crowded place.

By calming the mind it gives you a chance to think clearer, more rational, become more confident and stop from panicking every now and then. You will be able to stop the attack in its tracks and you will feel a lot better. However your need to learn to master these techniques, there is no instant anxiety relief, you need a few days at least to reduce the levels of anxiety.

Stopping Your Panic Attacks – Third Step!

And last but not least the third step is to accept how feel and stop worrying about it, instead take action and fight to overcome it. I know it sounds silly but when you are nervous because of your attacks it can actually make them worse or even make them last longer, the golden rule is to try and keep calm, this is exactly what you need to learn.

By: Alex (Download Free Anxiety Treatment)

About the Author:

Many people today suffer from panic attacks. However, one of the biggest mistakes that they make is trying to deal with the panic attacks on their own. There are many who try to hide the fact that they are suffering from such a problem, when there really isn’t a need to. Suffering from such a medical condition is common, and one should not have anything to be embarrassed about. There are many treatment options out there that can help one deal with panic attacks. Panic attack counseling, is one of the best treatment options available for those who suffer these types of attacks.

One of the main ways that panic attack counseling can help is that it can help you identify when a panic attack is about to occur and how you should deal with it. The counselor will teach you exactly what triggers an attack and how to identify signs before it actually takes place. Once you learn the causes behind panic attacks and how to tell when one is starting, your counselor will then teach you how to deal and manage such situations effectively and quickly.

Panic attack counseling will give you the power to control your panic attacks, and prevent you from getting any relapses in the future. You will learn how to manage and get rid of the symptoms to move forward with your life. As many people today easily let their panic attacks control their lives, undergoing counseling will definitely help you be in control of your mind and body again. One of the most popular forms of treatment for panic attacks done during counseling is Cognitive behavior therapy. This type of treatment generally lasts anywhere from 12 to 15 weeks, but you should be able to see changes in your life in about 6 weeks.

Your counselor will have you keep a daily journal of the events that have taken place in your life. This is to help keep track of all the events and things that have happened to you, so as to see patterns or reasons that trigger panic attacks in you. Doing so will help you learn why and how certain things affect your life, and how you should deal with these issues. Such issues can stem from childhood problems that took place when you were a kid, thus making it difficult for you to deal with certain situations in your life easily.

Your panic attack treatment can take the form of individual sessions with a counselor, or may also be done in a group therapy setting. Together, you and your doctor will determine which therapy treatment is best for you and your condition.

If you suffer panic attacks regularly, you ought to look into the different types of counseling options. This way, you will be able to choose the best panic attack counseling treatment that is right for you and your condition. You should not feel that this is something that you can only deal with on your own, as there is always help available for you when you need it. Thus, understanding how panic attack counseling can help you, puts you in a better position when looking for ways to treat the condition.

By: Ian Spencer (Free Download Anxiety Treatment eBook)

About the Author:

Anxiety is a very normal reaction, that everyone experiences throughout their lives, brought on by any number of potentially stressful scenarios. Job interviews, medical test results, the long, anxious wait for the grade on your term paper, all of these things bring about a high feeling of stress and anxiety that has the very real possibility of reaching a stage where the entirely normal feeling transforms into a crippling, possibly even debilitating fear. What’s worse, no matter what you try or do, this hindrance shows no signs of letting up on its own, and when you just can’t get it to go away, you may just find yourself in the midst of an anxiety disorder.

If you want to help yourself or your family escape the throes of these anxiety disorders, the key is to successfully identifying the symptoms, and tackling them one by one. Naturally the first place you’re going to want to start is digging into the myriad of books that have been printed on the topic. Professionals the world over have outpoured their knowledge into these books, which you can then utilize in your own way. Armed with the opinion of these professionals, you can then take the next step of approaching licensed psychologists and medical practitioners in the hopes of having them appropriately diagnose your anxiety disorder.

If you think that your anxiety will only effect you mentally however, you should think again. In fact, the two categories of anxiety disorders are actually split between mental and physical, and they can both have serious effects on your life and well being.

For example, your physical symptoms may include an increased heart beat that may resemble a panic attack, an increase in persperation and sweating, especially in the palms, an onset of fatigue, and the potentially lasting effects on your ability to sleep, which can later affect other parts of your life. The physical manifestations of anxiety are only coupled by the mental symptoms, which are not mutually exclusive, and include persistent feelings of fear, an inability to focus, chronic confusion, and a compelling feeling of avoidance.

It’s important to remember, however, that there are other possible causes for these symptoms, and you should not rule them out until you’ve spoken to a medical professional, qualified to make those decisions. However, once you’ve determined that anxiety is the culprit behind your recent malaise, a dual treatment of therapy and medication is among the chief recommendations to help break your disorder. Though these types of things are not for everybody, including those who simply don’t enjoy therapy sessions, don’t trust medication, or find that they’re allergic to the usually prescribed medicines. To that end, there are also cures found through different experts that specialize in a variety of unique efforts that can help each individual differently. The hardest part on the path to curing your anxiety is simply taking the first step – but with a little research and experimentation, you should be well on your way to living stress and anxiety free.

By: Abhishek Agarwal (Download Free Anxiety Treatment)

About the Author:

Panic attack and diabetes can be a worrying combination. Some of the feelings can be similar, thus, the person may be unsure if it’s panic or diabetes.

The problem with panic attacks is that it has a way of imitating other serious conditions, such as diabetes, asthma or even a heart attack. This uncertainty is very distressing.

Panic attacks can sometimes feel like hypoglycemia (abnormally low level of glucose in the blood). Either condition can make you feel weak and dizzy. Herein lies the problem.

Treating Panic Attacks Can Prevent Diabetes From Worsening

You may end up adjusting your blood sugar level when you need not have, because it may well have been the panic attack that caused you to feel this way. Panic can therefore cause your diabetes to worsen.

It’s very important for you to work closely with your doctors, for both diabetes and anxiety. Even though the anxiety attacks are not serious in itself, you can see the problems it can cause.

Diabetes may be a serious condition, but because of the complications caused by your panic and anxiety, pay as much attention in dealing with this problem as well.

Panic attacks are treatable. Depending on how lucky you are, it can get better, reduce in frequency and intensity or completely disappear. It can also trouble you again in the future.

This is because everyone is different. If you have diabetes as well, it’s more important for you to treat the panic than for someone who JUST has panic attacks and no other condition.

Once your panic attacks get better, maintain what you’ve learned so that if it ever came back, you can deal with it quickly.

Tricks To Help During A Panic Attack

Here are a couple of methods I’ve used in the past to help with panic attacks. If you’re having an attack, try to concentrate on sounds around you, perhaps even people talking.

A doctor once asked me to count backwards in threes from 100. This exercise, plus the fact that my mathematics is pathetic caused me greater discomfort than the panic attack! 97…92..no, wait, 94…

But seriously, panic attack and diabetes seem to have an unfortunate link. Get help for your panic attacks so that it doesn’t interfere as much with your diabetes.

By: Giri Anantha (Anxiety Treatment eBook – FREE)

About the Author:

An effective and very popular panic attack herb is called kava (Piper methysticum). It’s part of the pepper family. In fact, Piper is the Latin word for pepper.

Kava has been known to reduce panic anxiety attacks and depression. Kava contains kavalactones. This has a relaxing effect and can also help you sleep better.

Don’t Use Kava If You’re Pregnant

Kava kava, as it’s sometimes called, can be bought in health food stores. However, don’t just go off and buy it. Speak to a specialist first. There have been reports of it causing liver problems.

It is also not recommended for use by pregnant or lactating women. Not enough research at present has been done, so for women in this category, don’t even risk it.

Passion flower and lemon balm are two herbs that seem to produce anxiety-reducing effects. If you are taking medication for a thyroid problem, then it’s best not to take anything that contains passion flower.

Arguably, the most popular and well-known herbal preparation for panic attacks, anxiety disorders and depression is St. Johns Wort. It’s probably used more for depression.

It seems to be quite effective for depression, if it’s not severe. In general, St. Johns Wort seems to be well-tolerated.

If You Try Anything, Try PureCalm First

PureCalm is a highly recommended herbal product that provides stress relief naturally. It’s quite safe and is non-addictive. It contains lavender, lemon balm and passion flower.

It can be used by adults as well as children. PureCalm seems to have a positive effect on serotonin levels, helping to create a proper balance of this neurotransmitter.

Thus, it seems to have an antidepressant quality, which makes it quite effective in treating panic attacks. Adults can put 10 – 20 drops in water or juice daily. The dose is less for children, though very young children have a special product called K-OK KiddieCalmer.

Again, don’t use it if you’re pregnant or taking thyroid, or indeed any other medication. This is just to be cautious. Otherwise, it’s generally safe. They always have specials, like ‘buy 2 and get 1 free’.

If you are looking for a panic attack herb for your panic attacks, PureCalm is probably the best one to go with as it seems to contain the best herbal combination to treat panic attacks.

By: Giri Anantha (Free Download Anxiety Treatment eBook)

About the Author:

You know you’ve got a panic attack when you experience dizzy spells, chest pains, sweating, or trembling in stressful situations. An occasional panic attack is understandable, everybody experiences it at sometime or the other, but if panicking is your natural reaction to most stressful situations, it means your stress resistance is abominably low! A panic attack makes handling a stressful situation almost impossible, panic befuddles the brain and when the brain can’t think, finding a solution is completely out of the question! Moreover panic makes stress even more harmful than it is.

The only way to put a permanent stop to panic attacks is by improving your stress resistance. The following are some of the simplest techniques which can help you achieve this goal:

Meditation – Regular meditation trains your mind to consciously let go of all stress and anxiety. This training helps in improving ones stress resistance. Meditation has long term effects, not only does one feel relaxed and calm while meditating, the feeling of well being lingers on the whole day. Regular practice can help a person feel relaxed and calm even in the worst crisis.

Visualization – The subconscious mind understands the language of visuals. For instance when we visualize something positive or negative, our bodies and minds start reacting accordingly. When we visualize something negative we start feeling agitated and when we visualize something positive we feel relaxed and calm. The body reacts to visualizations as if it is already facing the situation being visualized. The more intense the visualization, the more real is the reaction of the body. Repeated positive visualizations therefore start pushing our bodies and minds towards the realization of our goals. Therefore, if we repeatedly visualize ourselves dealing with stressful situations calmly, eventually this visualization will become our reality.

Subliminal messages – Our subconscious directs our so called “natural behavior”. Our “natural behavior” consists of long held negative beliefs and behavior patterns, such as panicking in stressful situations. Subliminal messages can modify our behavior as they have the power to influence our subconscious. Subliminal messages when used repeatedly can remove the mental blockages which are responsible for our panic attacks, so that we can rid of them once and for all.

By: Dan Bainbridge (Download Free Anxiety Treatment)

About the Author:

Hypnotherapy has been used as a treatment for different types of physical and mental conditions for a long time now. It has been more than thousand of years now that this therapy is utilized throughout a variety of cultures. In the mid 20th century, modernized version of it was introduced as a medical technique. This was supported by both American as well as British medical Association.

When it comes to panic attacks, there are several ways hypnotherapy can work. In fact, the therapy has been proved helpful in several cases of panic attacks and individuals have been extremely happy with the performance and its effects.

It is sad but true that about one third of American population has already suffered form a panic attack at least once at same point of time in their life. There are several reasons for this. One of the main reasons remains ignorance about the disease, symptoms and treatment options.

One of the most effective options is hypnotherapy. It will help a person to cope up with panic attacks very efficiently. The treatment is fast and does not leave a negative impact on the patient. The technique helps the person to experience relaxation in a positive and quick pace.

Hypnotherapy has been extremely successful in teaching panic attack sufferer a brand new way to think as well as behave. There are a lot of breathing exercises and visualizations included in the technique in order to make the sufferer fearless.

The latest accepted technique of hypnotherapy for curing panic attacks is known as hypo- analysis or Analytical Hypnotherapy. This herapy is extremely focused as well as intensive type of talk therapy that helps a patient to be in a safe as well as secure environment. Thereafter it makes the patient travel through the process of identifying as well as underlying cause of patients phobia, anxiety or panic attacks. The process is carried out via using hypnosis.

Once the ulterior cause of panic or anxiety is identified and minimized, all symptoms associated to it would reduce dramatically.

The process of treatment that utilizes this therapy can take a long time and may also be heavier on your pocket. However, the process is extremely effective and facilitates the patient to undergo a self analyzation as well as understand the actual source of fear and anxiety.

A lot of studies have reported success of hypnotherapy in curing panic attacks. Many researches have even suggested effectiveness in helping patients get rid of panic attack.

Experts recommend to try some sessions of hypnotherapy to experience its effectiveness. This will help you get a feel of whether it gives you any impact on your sense of anxiety and well being.

Panic attacks can be quite uncomfortable, abnormal, scary and even stop you from carrying out your daily life activities.

Turning to hypnotherapy will surely help you achieve your goals. It will provide you a life that’s free of any kind of panic or anxiety attack.

By: Bertil Hjert (Download Natural Treatment for Anxiety Now!)

About the Author:

Treating agoraphobia is difficult because you have to face your fears and who wants to do that?

The best way to confront it is a two-part program called cognitive behavior therapy. Cognitive behavior therapy seeks to help you understand the origins of your fear and face that fear head on.

By learning the factors that trigger your particular panic attacks and how to control them you can work with breathing exercises and relaxation techniques to help you battle through the symptoms or prevent them altogether.

Another part of therapy is facing your fears head on. If you are afraid to go to the supermarket, then you need to go but go with a safe person. The person you go with will be there for reassurance and to help you if you experience panic symptoms. Simply knowing that you have assistance if something were to happen is often enough to prevent a panic attack.

As time goes by you go to more and more places and realize that panic attacks are either not as severe or not occurring at all. You can then wean yourself from the safe person that has been accompanying you. Your mind and body have been trained and have learned that fears don´t come true and that anxiety can be diminished or go away entirely over time.

Addressing your panic attacks is the key to either preventing agoraphobia or managing and eliminating it if it has already developed. Good ways to cope and care for yourself while dealing with this disorder include:

1. Don´t avoid fearful situations. The more you avoid fearful situations, the more you enforce that fear. Try to go to places that cause anxiety or fear because by confronting that fear your mind realizes, that the place or situation that seemed so fearful really isn´t.

2. Learn calming skills. Taking yoga, participating in meditating, learning relaxation or deep breathing techniques can all be helpful in terms of getting your mind and body in a place where it is not responding as forcefully to anxiety producing situations.

3. Practice relaxation techniques. Relaxation techniques include yoga, meditation and breathing but also include imagery techniques and positive thought redirection.

4. Find Support. Talk to people about what you´re going through, you may realize that there are more people than you thought struggling with fear, anxiety, panic attacks and agoraphobia. Support groups are also a great help.

5. Avoid alcohol and illegal drugs. A lot of people who suffer from agoraphobia turn to excessive alcohol or illegal drug use to ease the disturbing feelings that they have to cope with every day.

You need to change your lifestyle, your habits and even some of your thought processes to make an impact and change your life.

Agoraphobia treatment can include both medications and therapy or it can be treated with just therapy alone. If you´re on prescription medication, follow the instructions and take them as directed. The drugs that you might have been prescribed include Prozac, Paxil or Zoloft.

Even if you have a prescription, more likely than not, it will not be the cure all you were looking for. The problem with drugs is that they have side effects and can eventually trigger dependency issues. However, for some people with acute problems, they may be the only answer to get short term relief.

Relief over the long-term comes from changing your lifestyle and your thinking to better enable you to confront the situations that inspire such fear and anxiety and walk through the anxiety, realizing that you can handle it and come out the other side.

Once both your body and mind realize that you can survive and manage the panic, the fear of them lessens, the need for avoidance decreases, the stresses and anxiety naturally diminish and you will find yourself able to go places and do things you weren´t able to before without having an attack or even worrying that you are going to have one.

By: Bertil Hjert (Get FREE Anxiety Treatment)

About the Author:

“I thought I was going to die. I felt my chest tighten and I was sure I was having a heart attack. I told myself I was too young to get a heart attack but I couldn’t breathe and I was already losing consciousness. I woke up in the hospital after a few hours.” This is the testimony of a real person who suffered a panic attack. These are one of those horrible conditions that can occur in people of all ages. The symptoms include a very fast heartbeat, difficulty in breathing, numbness of the hands and feet, fever-like sensations and a feeling that one is experiencing a heart attack. Often, people who suffer from panic attacks are seized with terror that they think they are already on the brink of death. The whole attack can happen in just a few minutes but the episode can leave a person feeling weak and terrified. Treatment for panic attacks can be done to alleviate the immediate symptoms and regular dosages of antidepressants like Paxil, Zoloft and various SSRIs (selective reuptake inhibitor).

However, a panic attack is primarily a psychological disorder that can be treated with the right attitude. Some doctors would contend that treatment for panic attacks would require medication combined with psychotherapy but some medical experts suggest natural remedies for fear of dependence on prescription drugs. Some people also fear that medication alone will only treat the underlying symptoms and not the root cause of the problem. There are many ways that panic attacks can be treated if not the episodes reduced exponentially. Here are a few suggestions:

A Healthy Diet

Although there are no scientific studies to actually connect food with panic attacks, it has been agreed that there are some food that aggravates and increase the risk of panic attacks. Caffeine is one of these culprits. People who tend to drink more than four cups of coffee or soda can increase there chances of having them. Alcohol as well as illegal drugs can also create a chemical reaction in the body making you prone to panic attacks. One suggestion is to try herbal teas of sage and chamomile, in lieu of caffeine to calm your nervous system.

Aerobic Exercises

Anything that can get your heart pumping for thirty minutes or more can help your body cope with stress better reducing the risk of panic attacks. The body needs physical exercise to benefit every organ in the body and promote circulation. Exercises can be as simple as brisk walking, gardening or even walking the dog around the block.

Meditation

Deep breathing and meditation are great stress-management methods and considered by most as an appropriate treatment for panic attacks. Yoga advocates breathing from the abdomen making our oxygen intake deeper. The value of deep breathing cannot be stressed enough. It can relieve the body of more impurities adding health and vitality. With a stress-free mind, these are less likely to occur.

By: Howard Guy (Free Download Anxiety Treatment eBook)

About the Author:

One of the best ways to help with panic symptoms is to try natural holistic methods of alleviating the panic attack.

Panic attacks come on quite suddenly and are very intense periods of anxiety and fear which are combined with physical effects such as an acute shortness of breath, heart murmurs, hyperventilation, feeling “pins and needles”, sickness, and an in extreme cases an overriding fear of death. Quite when an attack reaches its highest intensity varies from person to person. This can be anywhere between a few minutes to several hours before panic symptoms subside. The frequency of an attack can also vary from occurring every few days to only occurring once a year.

What to do during an attack

It is best to try to take care of the panic symptoms whilst an attack is actually taking place. The best method for doing this is a natural holistic method. For instance, the person whilst having an attack should try to recall happy pleasant memories perhaps from childhood when times were a lot happier. A common way for people to be helped into remembering childhood experiences is by aromatherapy. The brain associates happy times with pleasant smells and it only takes a few sniffs of a familiar smell to help reduce a panic attack. This is one step towards ending the repeat cycle of attacks.

One of the most common odors which are comforting to people is the smell of baby powder which reminds them of carefree and comforting times. Added to this are other childhood smells which vary from person to person depending on where they were brought up. For instance, the smells of the seaside might help a person remember fond times playing on the beach or the smell of woodland would help with people who used to have vacations in the countryside. The exact smells which help with panic symptoms will vary from person to person.

Most people will be surprised by the fact that the last thing you should do during an attack is to sit down. The reason for this is that the body experiences much higher adrenaline levels during a panic attack. It therefore follows that if you are having an adrenaline rush then you should try to burn it off by exercising rather than let the levels build up. You should go for a moderately strenuous walk which will be of great help. Indeed, it has been found that exercise generally, that is daily exercise and not just exercising during an attack, helps people recover more quickly from panic symptoms than people who take little or no daily exercise.

By: John Nuttall (Anxiety Treatment eBook – FREE)

About the Author:

That one element being STRESS!

Panic Attacks are generally brought on when a person is put under a huge amount of stress. There are a few ways panic attacks can occur, but stress and tension is by far one of the most common causes of an attack.

Anyone who suffers panic attacks know just how devastatingly awful they can be. You imagine just about every worst case scenario possible, from having a heart attack, not being able to breath or just plain losing control. After the first initial panic attack, the resulting attacks after is what scares us the most.

The problem with most ways for treating panic attacks is that they only really mask the problem, but don’t solve them. Medication is a crutch, it helps, but remove that crutch and the panic returns. Coping techniques get you through an attack, they help calm you down, but all they do is make a panic attack less severe. The key to living a panic free life is to understand one thing:

You need to stop being afraid of panic attacks.

Sounds simple doesn’t it? This concept for treating panic attacks is very simple, but applying it can be difficult. I challenge you to try giving yourself a panic attack right now and I’ll bet that you can’t. The reason being is because you want one to happen, which means you have no fear of it at this moment. If panic has nothing to feed off of, like your fear, then it cannot get out of control.

You can think of this concept as a loop. Initial panic leads to fear of more panic, which fuels the fire for another panic attack and we’re back at the start again. Cut the fuel of that fire, and panic has nothing to feed off of.

There are literally thousands of different methods for treating panic attacks, but it’s this one simple idea that really helped me to overcome my panic altogether.

Stop wasting your time with outdated coping techniques or side-effect ridden prescriptions and start living a life that’s panic free.

By: Charity-lyn Gellar (Free Treatment for Anxiety eBook)

About the Author:

Most of us have been through it, felt it and may even be undergoing it right now, and this is why Anxiety is such a powerful emotion that can have incredible effect on our well being. It’s effect can have far-reaching effects, and that includes panic attack escalations that can reach a point of becoming a disorder.

Among the many known remedies fit for Anxiety and it’s related panic syndrome is management therapy, this involves learning to separate yourself from physical reaction and becoming much of a dispassionate spectator of some sort, a trick that does much to lessen the degree of intensity caused by the attack. Reaching this point is indeed a milestone towards learning how to effectively manage an constant stress and its relative worry that are initial triggers of panic.

It is a common fact that one of the many ways to control Anxiety related panic disorders is by indulging yourself to a positive self-talk when it occurs. This stresses the fact that a positive stream of thoughts initiated prior to a panic attack, can greatly counter its effect and reoccurrence, it is good to remember that panic attacks aren’t physically detrimental and will subside with time. Also engaging yourself in deep breathing that is nerve relaxing can be a plus factor. When you become nervous during an attack, that only serves to worsen the condition.

The mode of treatment in treating both Anxiety and related panic disorders targets two things. First and foremost is learning how to avoid the panic prior to attack, and secondly learning how to control the attack after occurrence. Studies indicate that trying to resist panic attacks will only serve to worsen them further. It’s advisable therefore, to accept the attack when it happens and take good control measures.

The core part of Anxiety and panic disorder control therefore lies in learning how to take care of your thoughts, the tension in your life and the resultant physical reactions. This gives you a wonderful opportunity to get rid of your panic disorders forever. This may involve making lifestyle changes to your life that reduce the amount of stress you are subjected to. Learning to be self-confident and worrying-less of having to control each aspect of your life could be a great start. This will also bolster your self esteem to the better.

When you master the art of coping with stress, Anxiety and panic disorders, they cease to be obstacles to your life. And

enable you to live fully without the unending fear it adds to your every activity. Practicing the various activities like relaxation and affirmative self talk will eventually make panic attacks have lesser impact to your life.

By: Abhishek Agarwal (Download Free Anxiety Treatment)

About the Author:

Are you searching for natural anxiety remedies? Are you tired of experiencing the pain and frustration that comes with the uncertainty of not knowing when your anxiety will get the best of you or worse, having another panic attack? You are not alone but it must seem that way when you are feeling stress or anxiety which seems uncontrollable at times. It is possible that you have one of the more common anxiety disorders called Generalized Anxiety Disorder or GAD for short. This anxiety disorder is mostly characterized as a constant worrying, which is uncontrollable and may not be caused by serious events. For instance, you might be worried about picking up the kids on time or trying to get everything done on your to-do list. Constant worrying can lead to a loss of concentration on tasks and have a direct effect on the your professional and personal life. Here are five natural remedies for anxiety that may temporarily help alleviate your anxiety and stress.

1) Unfortunately, prescription drugs are usually offered as a remedy for such illnesses and they can be dangerous if used over a long period of time. The demand for alternative medicine has skyrocketed because many of them offer relief from symptoms without the side-effects linked to prescription drugs but natural remedies are not meant to be long-term treatments, although they can offer relief in the short-term. It is very important that you do your homework and research to increase your knowledge of any herb or vitamins to make sure it is the right thing for you to take. It is also a good idea to consult your family physician in order to ensure that the alternative treatment is safe for you.

St. John’s Wort is one of the most popular anti-anxiety herbs on the market. After taking St. John’s Wort for as little as two weeks, you should notice a difference in your anxiety level. Valerian Root is another herb you might want to try. It is especially helpful in combating insomnia because of its sedative quality as it helps to lull the central nervous system to sleep. Vitamins can also provide an effective treatment for anxiety and B-complex can help produce neurochemicals, which in turn, assists in the synthesis of seratonin, norepinephrine and dopamine. Kava Kava is considered to be one of the strongest anti-anxiety remedies in the world. Another aid to combating anxiety is Passion Flower because it helps to calm the central nervous system, leading to feelings of peace.

2) Exercising should make you feel less anxious. Your muscles become less tense and you will be calm and relaxed after at least 30 minutes of your favorite type of exercise. It has been shown that exercise leads to an hour and a half to two hours of relaxation response and this has been referred to as the endorphin response. As a result, your mood will improve, enabling you to deal more effectively with stress. Exercise can also improve your self-image and you will experience a greater sense of self-worth, which will reduce your stress level. A confident person is an individual who knows how to handle stress without becoming flustered.

3) Insomnia is one of the most dangerous side-effects of stress. It can rob you of your energy, strength, and endurance. but there are some steps you can take to improve your sleep. You can make sure that your bedroom is conducive to sleep by finding the most comfortable bedding available, decorating your room with soft, subtle colors, and eliminating clutter or other signs of work in progress. Try not to do work in bed and avoid watching TV. You want to try to eliminate stimulants from your sleeping area which could prevent you from falling asleep. If you like to read in bed, make sure that you read something light that will not engage your mind as you are trying to fall asleep.

4) Cooking is another way for you to relax and enjoy your time by making a hobby out of it. It takes a great deal of patience and persistence to become an excellent cook and you will feel a sense of accomplishment at the end of a good meal which can further reduce your stress level. You might want to invest in some good cooking supplies and take the time to learn the fine art of preparation to help ease your stress when the time to cook arrives. You can take a cooking class to meet new friends, learn new recipes and to learn how to properly use your new equipment.

5) One of the most rewarding activities you can choose to lower your stress is to engage in volunteer work. There is something that is comforting about donating your time to help someone else. This simple act can elevate your spirits, helping you to better cope with the stressors in your life. Your time is very valuable and you will be giving a tremendous gift back to your community. You may find your reward in the smiles on the faces of the people you have assisted.

We all have feelings of anxiety from time to time. But how can you tell if your anxiety is out of control? If you experience racing thoughts, rapid heartbeat, extreme difficulty resting or concentrating, you probably need to get help. If you do not like dealing with the side-effects of prescription drugs, an herbal remedy may be in order but this is usually only a temporary solution. You can choose one or many of the activities listed above to help you find relief and these tips will help deal with things today but you owe it to yourself to find the long-term solution for your anxiety.

By: Michael R Maroun (Free Treatment for Anxiety eBook)

About the Author:
